Sorry I haven't been keeping this up to date the last couple of days, half term normally gets a bit manic and a bit fun =]
Ignore the rage of that last one, that was just a moment of very very VERY extreme annoyance, although at least you now know my policy on drugs, and my saying STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Right, so i haven't written anything since the bank holiday. Well, that turned out to be a very very boring day. We were supposed to be headed Orpington way to shoot a Dr Who spoof thing, but that one kinda fell through, so i was left at home with literally nothing to do all day, advantage being i didn't have to crawl out of my pit till 2 in the afternoon, good times. Although i seriously did so little all day, i was INCREDIBLY cool and was practising my knife sharpening skills. And why not eh? I love my pen knives, so so much. They all have their own individual stories behind them and the amount of tlc they get from me its great =D
Tuesday, i again had reserved for shooting. But at least i'd had time to change my plans round a bit and do something more interesting with my time. As such, i went off to sunny Eynsford and met up a few friends and we went for a walk/gossip, it was really good fun. And it was cheap too, thats ALWAYS good in my books, everything else seems to cost insane amounts of money. And then it was off to Greenwich to kip round a friends and stay up really not all that late cos she was tired out by like half 11... So i was just sat around in the guest bedroom till about 3.30 wide awake. I dunno what it is but i can't sleep well in other beds unless i'm completely knackered!!! Also my bed at home being so crap i was lying right on the very edge, with a pile of pillows on the other side cos i can only sleep on one just rather bored. If the floors weren't so creaky that i'd have done some exercise, something which half term is terrible for! Always slip out of my routine, just have to make sure i get back into it. Although, it was worth being up at about 2 for that thunder storm wasn't it!! Bloody AMAZING. I thought the house was actually shaking, nature at its very finest!!
Wednesday, best - day - EVER! Well, not quite, but it wasn't bad. Had to be up early to get to the dentist for 9.30. I thought, thats easy, i'm in Westcombe Park, dentist's Charlton. 1 stop away and a smidge of a walk, sorted... No, never that easy. As ever the curse of bloody public transport!!! GRR!! Got to the station with spare time. Went to the ticket machine. Bloody coin slot was blocked!! Had to ask someone to buy my ticket and then let me pay them back, and it all took too long, hammered on the door button just as my train decided then would be a really great and useful time to pull away... Then i got lost in Charlton... But was at the dentist's by 10.00 so its all good. And he said my teeth are good =] Then came home and started trying to get everything sorted. Had to tidy up everything and clean and shop. £50!!!!!!!! Its stupid!!! £30 of it was alcohol! No idea how it came to so much!!! Still, got everything ready and put the gazebo up outside. Then before i knew it people were at the door. Really good laugh, thanks guys if any of you are reading this =] So much food, so much drink, GREAT laugh!
Clearing up this morning however... was not so hot. I dunno why but when my parents were away i was much more motevated to keep the place clean, but when they're around i just can't be bothered. Hmmm oh well. Today has been another lazy day, but its all fun and games eh =] Got a break in that it started raining before i got to the lawn mower. And that leaves me here now having just had a fight with my mother cos i'm not spending every waking second doing bloody revision. Also cos i intend to wear an alice band to school after exams. I'm sorry, but school has got it coming!! Bloody cottam. I do hope she gets hit by a bus, Mr tithead was quite the legend in comparison to this twat. But my mother thinks i should be gracious in defeat. Fuck that. I'm not gracious in ANYTHING. Let along being walked over by that bitch.
I have to be pretty and smart tomorrow, job interview at ASDA, should be pretty cool. Had one there before so i kinda know what i'm gunna get asked, just really want a job. So i can buy equipment and wood and driving lessons and a car and pretty things and i dunno, i know i'd be good at whatever job i set my mind to, even if it was the accursed MaccyD's i'd still rock the line "would you like fries with that?"... might go a bit Yoda... "Fries with that like you would?" oh my, that'd be so cool, if you were a jedi selling on commission... "you want to buy this TV" - "I want to buy this TV". Okay, enough of my ranting for one night. I will not be around tomorrow evening as i'm off partying!!! =D fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun stufffffff =D can't beat a good party. Also got sooo much left over booze you wouldn't believe!!

Just what...
... Are you supposed to do when you find out one of your very best friends has been taking drugs...!?
I am actually at such a total loss. I HATE drugs, so very very very much. And then to hear from this friend that they have been partaking... I dunno... its not really a kick in the teeth cos i don't have a right to feel that way... But i just really don't know what to say, nor what to think, nor ANYTHING! I know they feel they're in a bad place, but thats no reason. AHHHH!!!!
So what do i do?? Do i be all supportive and go "you can get through this" When they don't see it like its a problem? Or do i have a go at them like i really really want to because they are so clever, could go so far, and i don't want to see them throw any of that away :-(
Dammit i feel crap now. I really just don't know what to do or say...
Any advice anyone? I'm sure most of the people reading this will have my e-mail, and if not its sad_sax_man@hotmail.com
See ya later

Pubzz...
... Are amazing places, especially when they think you're 18 =D
This fine day has been pretty good on the whole. Quite a bit's happened too, all good fun.
Woke up at bloody 9.30!!!! Body clock is SERIOUSLY messed up if it wakes me up in AM willingly!! Still, got up and got clean etc etc. But actually have no idea what i did with my morning. I sat down here, and found this Rick Wakeman video on YouTube, and the entire morning just seemed to be a blur from that point on... Oh that was it!! I tested out the new bread maker, tis rrraaattthhheerrr scrummy if i do say so myself *licks lips*
Got picked up at 1.50, to hop off to Crowborough. Not a very interesting place if i'm being perfectly honest. However... It does have the largest saxophone retailers in the whole of the UK based there... So, i was in heaven.. Even though i never actually played a single sax, but i was with Simon so what more could i possibly want?? Oh my, he has THE most sexual new mouthpiece, damn the boy can blow like a pro ;-)
Then it was off to the PUB!!! for lunch. Tasty. I had the Adam special, chips and garlic bread, where everyone else had a "proper" meal. Still, what i don't eat i make up for in terms of drink. Managed to talk the way to getting a jug of Pimms, and after that a pint of stella... So not a good habit to be into at my age i'm sure, but you've gotta have something to limber yourself up before a gig, even if it is one in a church, where the average age must have been upwards of 75... Fun stuff...
Still, the gig was a laugh. Can't say i'm a fan of male voice choirs... But they really did a very good job considering. Of course it was all aided by myself and Simon's rhythmic applause and outstanding falsetto in the sing alongs. All good fun. But not as much so as our epic iPod touch messaging constantly.
Then it was back to my lover's for a bit before time to head back here. Has been a REALLY great day... Just wish it had lasted a while longer. Or we'd gone to the pub after the gig as well as before =P Still, all good things must come to pass.
Unto which i say...
you can all f*** off its time to go home

FAT!!!
Is what i feel right now. Gosh i need to do copious amount of exercise after today's picnic lunch!!! Gem and i, such healthy people, a lunch of chocolate brownies, coke, chocolate, and pringles. For some reason i don't think the frisbee will have burnt off enough calories to equal out all that... Can hope though. Mind you, cycling up the road to get home is ALWAYS a killer, and even after like a week in the sun my sadle was STILL damp!!! WAS NOT AMUSED!!
Come to think of it my day has been rrrraaaatttttthhhhheeeerrrrr effeminate... In quite a few ways *cringes at memory*.
I mean, i woke up at 7 this morning... Not to go for a run or work out or anything manly... No no no. I woke up at 7 to bake chocolate brownies, which, it being so early and all, i managed to cock up a tiny bit. Still they came out okay.
Although i did do something a bit more manly, i stumbled into my garage with an MDF casting mould and a blow torch, melted some pewter and cast a couple of treble clefs. Managed to finish off one pretty much before it was time to go to the park. It was a bit like "what can i do? i'm bored..." a normal person might have, oh i don't know, put on a DVD or something, but not i, off to the garage. To BURN things till they melt .
Park was brilliant fun, although Monica FORGOT, silly girl... The fact she was actually in Dartford and still managed to forget is really quite impressive. So was just Gem and myself again. Still great fun, played frisbee and had a handstand competition, which involved me half killing myself =D gotta love it. I'll tell you something... When you're playing frisbee in a park, and you're wearing a girls size 8 or something shirt, and then your friend is wearing a large man's shirt when she's a she... You don't half get some weird looks. Still, be grateful i didn't stoop to wearing the skirt... I couldn't though, i mean, where do girls keep all of the hardware!?!?!? Pen knife(s), lighter, kazoo, keys, wallet, hair brush, paper pad, pencil... All that kinda stuff i managed to fit in one pair of combat trousers. Forget needing a handbag, practical trousers is the way forward. I can be such a guy sometimes.
After we left the park at about half 5 and had our little race to the traffic lights it was back home to catch a bit of top gear and more importantly, a shower! A well earned one at that too. And guess what happened then... Back to the garage, finished off the second treble clef. So i have Nina's VERYVERYVERYVERYVERY late birthday present finished, and a random present for Monica cos i think what i gave her for her birthday was a bit stingy.
Off to "sunny" London tomorrow with Justin, Kit, Alicia, and Bryony to do some film screen test shots and stuff like that. Should be a bit of a laugh, even if i do hate London was a passion... Its like you get there and can feel all the carcinogens sticking to your throat. And its so bloody expensive!! =[ Not a London fan, i'm definitely more of a nature boy type person. In fact if there hadn't have been guk all over my camera lense there would have been an awesome picture of me halfway up a tree lounging backwards wearing a girl's white shirt. Its all good fun isn't it =P Anyway, at this point i shall sayyy... Catch up with my, possibly a grand total of three, faithful readers on the morrow.

I think...
... I've done more work today that I actually did yesterday. Even with the insane amount of examage.
Had Beth and Jenny over and we plunged into the murky depths of "biology". Its quite fun, but does get a bit dry and seeing as we were working from 10.30 it was a bit much for my poor brain to handle at such an evil hour in the morning. Well, the very fact it was actually morning is enough given i wasn't asleep at any time before 3 and my alarm went off at 8 as i had to make myself "beautiful"... ish... kinda thing...
Needless to say by 12.30 i was thoroughly bored out of my skull and asked if we could go get lunch like a school boy from the shop. To which a certain Miss Hedges replied "not till ten too". ITS MY HOUSE!!! As it was she then moved it to one anyways. was not impressed. Although lunch was great fun, walked to the shop and had the most unhealthy lunch EVER! out on the grass opposite. Was great fun though. Even if Beth did try and steal my stuff ¬_¬
What else is new... hmmm... oh yeah! I AM THE OWNER OF A LATHE =D!!!!!!!!! Actually so happy about that Mr Collins, the most legendary man i think in existance after this one! He's got a lathe that he doesn't want and is just like "when can i drop it off?" L-E-G-E-N-D!!!! So as soon as i've taken that baby to pieces and got it running like the sexy beast it has the potential to be watch out world, and watch out friends, cos you're gunna have candle holders and i dunno what else yet for every event =D sounds, to quote Monica and Daisy, "amezzin". Although... even though the lathe is free gunna have to get myself some pretty sexual tools to go along with it, which will cost a BOMB! But won't half be worth it!
Ahh, i do love entertaining people, its just so much fun!!! Can't wait till i can have a few people over in half term, cos its BBQ season baby =D Pimms o'clock!!
And of course the other wonders that come with people, drink, crudites, pringles, and ffffffuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn =D
This still seems a touch on the short side after reading David's epic story about his english exam, which is a point, don't forget to check out the blogs of the rest of the NS crew, even if none of them are as loyal to the idea as myself, haha. Basically meaning i'm the only one who has NOTHING better to be doing with his time. Justin, David and Tim all have partners, and Ben's probably learning ANOTHER language, I think he's onto Zulu...
Erm... Deanna is officially AMAZING for being my first commenter =P
Picnic tomorrow, should be really really good fun as the last one was, more frisbee and brownies and great stuff like that. And maybe more than just Gem and myself =O! fun as it was last time with it just being the two of us. Although the plan is to be really really posh =] Well... i say really posh, what i mean is we're both wearing shirts. And having a waterfight =D
May the force be with you (it seems to be a star wars themed week...)

My Brain Hurts!!!!
... Actually does, seems to me I have a platoon of foot soldiers wearing lead boots stomping a tatoo into my skull. Still, thats probably just de-hydration or some such jazz.
I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!
6 exams in 2 days AND I DID IT!!!
Treating myself to a "go me" beer, well earned I feel after the last two days. As if it wasn't enough i agreed to help my tech teacher with this primary school thing she does. WHY!? I HATE KIDS!!!! They're all so obnoxious its insane!! Thinking the smallest thing makes them the bee's knees. I'm certain i was no better, in fact i was probably worse... but still, AHHHH!
Not much else has been up today, and yer, the whole brain melting thing. I will try and remember to check back in on the morrow, although don't expect me to be particularly coherent after 2 hours with annoying small children ¬_¬
Make love not breakfast (lets face it, much better way to start the day =])

Sorry...
...For not keeping up to date with all this since Saturday. Hectic life and all that jazz. So the next two days shit does hit the proverbial fan, with 7 1/2 hours of exams between now and 4pm tomorrow afternoon. Fun eh? Well, its all in the name of education. Whats scary is thinking "oh yer, resistant materials, I'm good at that..." and then looking at a test and paper and thinking "might need to do a little revision of this..." by which i do of course mean AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! =]
Bit of a job hunt on Saturday, was pretty good fun cos it may also have ended up as Laur, Louisa and myself going to see "What happens in Vegas" Really fun day out, even if Louisa isn't all that cool... hehe =P
Ahhhh, picked up my geography text book earlier as I have that exam tomorrow and am also an iota worried about it... Its great, its still in mint condition cos I've only actually taken it into school like once all year. Of course that's probably quite an ominous sign when it comes to thinking about how much work I've actually done all year. Especially with that wretched woman as my teacher ¬_¬ Yer, miss, if you ever happen to read this LEARN TO TEACH!!! (Gosh, I'm such a delight aren't i?)
10 exams left... Talking to other people i know they're just like "oh yer, down to my final two" oh how i envy them, still, serves me right for taking such silly subjects does it not? Tonight is going to be a great laugh, basically I've started a new exercise thingy, and every other week i increase the number of things that i do. And tonight it goes up, and it will be an absolute killer... see me in my exam tomorrow barely able to lift my pencil or something silly.
Gosh i am way too easily distracted! I REALLY should be sat here doing revision for my exams and instead I'm writing my blog... All fun and games eh peeps? You know what would REALLY make my day? someone leaving a comment? maybe? and you know, that probs wouldn't make my day, but would add a little interest. To make my day you'd have to come up to me and hand me a sheet of paper which only i can see and has all the answers for my next exams on it, that would be AMAZING =D

Whooops...
... Completely forgot to make another entry last night. Well, I say blame A) school, and B) Gem.
Was up like mega early to go hand in some work and it was being sent off the same day, so y'know, no panic at all!!! Did all that jazz and got home about half 9. My parents are back so I couldn't do anything without being told to go and tidy up or something like that. Grrrr, the house was a LOT tidier before they came back!! But they are like SUPER in my good books!! They've said if i get a lathe that they'll build me a shed for it!!!! Okay, I'm certain some of you (well, that's under the assumption that someone is actually reading this...) are thinking why the hell would i want a lathe, or what it actually is. Its a spinney thing for turning wood into spindles... Think the shafts on your banister if they're wooden.
Then about quarter to 12 I looked like a right wally cycling into dartford... With a red and white stripey umbrella tucked under my arm. One day I'm sure I'm going to get knocked down racing cars along Heath Lane (hill in Dartford). Still, all fun and games. Got to town and went and had a picnic... Under a tree cos blimey it didn't half start raining!! Also felt especially cool cos there were only two of us, Gem and I cos people either weren't off school, couldn't be bothered cos of the weather, had their maths exam, or were busy having mental breakdowns. Still great fun though.
Got to dos around for a while in the evening, have one of my epic showers and stuff. Then decided to go and see a play which my friends were in and Gem coerced me into going to see. Was actually a surprisingly good night out... When i could keep my eyes open. Play was called "Once A Catholic" I'm not exactly what you'd call the most religious of people, but even i found it good... all be it because there was a nun with tourettes... I'm mature...
Then yer got back and was so knackered I completely forgot about writing it all up. So that was yesterday. It was good.
OOOHHH!!!! Biggest point of all!!!! I GOT AN A!!!! For my tech folder!! =D
Peace and love
Adam

The Muse...
Are most definitely a band I think this world would do very well without!!!
An ode to tractors:
I woke up one morning,
The sky was a grey,
My poor little tractor,
Is towing that hay.
I said ooooooooooh why,
Has it come to this?
My poor little tractor,
You're not meant for this.
I woke up next morning,
The combine gave a start.
Damn things really edgy,
It just breaks my heart!
I said ooooooooooh why,
Won't you cut the crop?
Then once I got it started,
It just wouldn't stop.
No hay in the shed
My cockerel's dead
My sheep have no wool
My donkey won't pull
No eggs in the barn
No dogs in the yard
And the bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuues, they are iiiiiiiiiinnnnn my soul
You know what... That is about 10 minutes of my life I'm never gunna get back!!! That's just not fair! Why did I do this? i could have been sleeping dammit!!
I need to find some better inspiration than the Wurzels... and thoughts anyone? Drop me a comment so I might actually have a clue that someone, somwhere reads these things.
Night all

Today
Has been loads better!!
I got up to have Alex abusing me on the phone, but that was actually quite funny, then had to hot foot it to school to give some work in, only to be told I had another 24 hours!!
Hung around there for a while before thinking "oh yer, i have an exam i should go revise for" and by some miracle NONE of the stuff i actually revised was actually in the damn thing!!! But I'm pretty sure it didn't go too bad. Ahhh, and that's all my exams out of the way for this week. 2 down only another 10 to go, I swear I have way more than anyone else I know!!! Ahh well, mustn't complain =]
I've decided I'm spending way too much out in my garden with a staff and sword as of late... I might be worrying the neighbours a bit I suspect. All in the name of a film I guess, I just hope that by some chance i survive the thing without something going horribly wrong in one of the scenes where I've said "ooh!! can i do *enter insane type thing here*" Still thinking, why am i not getting paid for this??
So yer, that's pretty much today in a nut shell, its been MUCH better than yesterday. The only bad thing i can think is that i have to be up early tomorrow... Gotta have masses of work of my teachers desk at like 8am!! I haven't seen 8 am in about 3 months!!! Well.. tell a lie, I've pulled a couple of all nighters but still!
If i ever finish this tech then i might post a "go me" poem on here... I can feel the muse starting to take hold meaning that a terrible atrocity of literature is en route.
Toodle pip =]

Today was...
Not so sexy...
Woke up, finished off the coursework I needed to finish before my biology exam, Justin came round, we had fun with the sword for a while =D
Went off to do my exam. It went passably (I hope), although I've discovered if ever i walk out of an exam happy I have done amazingly badly. Ominous. Now, I'm sure the more sharp of you are thinking "so whats so bad about that?" no? oh, just me then.
Day takes a turn for a worse when your tech teacher catches you straight after said exam and says "come see me, URGENTLY" Being the good little geek I am, I do go follow to be given the delightful bombshell that..........
My coursework folder is a D.
And no one decided to tell me this BEFORE the final deadline because....?
Not so good for a person that wants to go to uni to do a similar course eh? So that ones gunna be a summer project and I'll re-submit it next year. Major annoyance though cos every uni will be like "so, you're applying for this tech course.... with a D..." Not too promising really is it?
On the plus i got to abuse Justin with a fly swat earlier, always good for a laugh... I may have accidentally ever so slightly missed his body and kinda abused his "man" parts. Which led to quite a fun game of "hide or be pummeled into oblivion" till his mother came to collect him.
Have my first geography exam tomorrow afternoon. That should be a hoot I'm sure. Lots of lovely statistical analysis... Anyone fancy sitting it for me?? Eurgh, I feel totally shot, still after tomorrow no more exams till Monday so I can have a few late mornings and even later evenings before, if you'll pardon my crudeness, shit hits the fan.
Keep it real homies

Prop number 1
Well, wouldn't you know our first prop arrived today =D
A nice 38.5 inch rapier, i'm sure i will get to enjoy Nina accidently stabbing me with it at some point in the not so distant future... joy...
In other news...
Study leave is dull and i've only been off one day. Someone should have a get together... HINT HINT!! Even though i actually haven't done ANY of the work i need to have done before my biology exam on the morrow. Ahh well. I have more important things to do.. Like run around in my garden weilding a sword, hehehe.
Gosh, i'm scared. My parents are away, yet the house isn't on fire or a total tip, aside from my desk which is covered in paper and my beast of a text book, all fun and games. Is 3pm too early to start drinking?
Good, thought not.
Catch up with you guys later

New Firsts...
I've never had a blog before, i reckon this could be quite fun, getting my musings down on paper... well... virtual paper.
So erm, yeah... I'm Adam =]
How do you do?
Trying to think of a way to describe myself that won't make people think I'm either gagging for attention or a complete freak...
I think all of us at Nonstandard have our own quirks so to speak, I certainly wouldn't describe any of us as "normal". But then again... Where's the fun in that!?
Okay, I'm something of a geek in most senses. I adore playing piano and saxophone... In fact there's something stupid like about £5000 worth of instruments in my possession. Then at the start of this year I did a bit of a weird turn and stopped being captivated so much by music, but more by design technology subjects focusing mainly around carpentry and turnery... Now, how many people can say that one? =O slow down boy this is almost original!!!
How long do these things usually go on for??
Well, as its my first i'll make it short and sweet, and if you so desire (and dare i say it...) watch this space for more of my thoughts and antics if you really want to.
Hope you've enjoyed reading
